Ultra Run Coach Tools is a web-based tool located at https://ultraruntools.com. Its a training platform built for ultra runners and their coaches combining workout analysis, race planning, nutrition, and recovery tracking and more. If you are an athlete of UltraRunCoach.com then you have access as its part of your subscription. Each year, new features will be released. Below it the initial release of tools for season 2026, when it premiered. Its currently in a closed beta to a small number of users, but will be released soon to everyone for a monthly fee.

π Workouts β Your Training Calendar
Workouts are automatically imported from Garmin/Coros and see your entire training history in a month-by-month calendar view. Weekly mileage totals, workout notes, and race markers let you track your full season at a glance. Each workout links to a detailed analysis page. Garmin Connect preferred, but Coros support is available via Intervals.icu integration.

Every imported workout gets an interactive GPS map, heart rate zone breakdown, mile-by-mile split table with Grade-Adjusted Pace, pace/elevation charts, and running dynamics. An optional AI commentary highlights trends a coach would flag cardiac drift, zone distribution, effort consistency.

Syncs daily recovery data from Garmin or Coros for HRV, resting HR, sleep, steps, and body weight β charted over selectable date ranges. Overlay metrics to spot correlations, add notes for context.

Upload a GPX course file (or enter distance and vert manually), set multiple target times, and get a segment-by-segment pace plan using Grade-Adjusted Pace modeling. Add aid stations with stop times, support crew access and drop bag locations, and export to PDF or Excel for race day.

π Race-Day Nutrition Calculator
Enter your body weight, race distance, elevation, finish time, temperature, and humidity to generate an hourly fueling schedule calories, carbs, sodium, and fluid targets mapped to your aid stations. Sweat rate customization and plan saving included.

π Race Reports β Capture Every Lesson
A guided questionnaire covering pacing, nutrition, gear, and lessons learned β with a rich text editor so you can write as much detail as the race deserves. Save, edit over time, email to your coach for additional insight and analysis.

π Gait Analysis β Avoid Injury
Custom software used to do analysis of your running form. Once you submit a video your coach and the software will analyze your form and provide value feedback.

π Drop Bag Planner β Pack Smarter
Build per-location packing lists for each aid station or crew access point. Add items from a gear catalog or create custom ones, specify quantities, add crew notes, and reuse your kit template race to race. Type of race selection will determine what bags are pre-loaded with.
